It’s dangerous because it teaches the dog on chewing furniture, doors etc., materials that are not healthy for them and can reveal very dangerous for their intestine, also for the size.

That’s why unfortunately, there are many domestic accidents of dogs that eat the sofa, pillows, carpets, curtains etc. We have had other similar cases, in terms of learning, with puppies playing with stones when we let them play with them, because in fact the dog becomes familiar with a material that he would ignore in nature. On a learning level, this must make us think because we have never seen a stray dog go truffle hunting to survive. Because they are predators.

The object is not dangerous, but the possessiveness that the dog can create palying and learning with it, could induce the dog to eat dangerous plastic materials like bowls, bags, doghouses made of plastic etc

To make it very dangerous, there is also the residual risk that it can open becoming sharp and if it used the tape to close it, it can deflect the smell. In addition, even if traceable to X-rays because it is a metal, it is also dangerous because it can be swallowed.
